ABOUT

We first opened our doors at the corner of Bleecker and Crosby in 1990 as a neighborhood gathering place where all are welcome. Over the next three decades, NoHo underwent some supercharged changes — but Bleecker Street Bar remained a bastion of old fashioned hospitality and conviviality, earning a reputation as one of New York City’s best loved bars. In the fall of 2020, we closed the doors in our original location, but we didn’t give up, and made the decision to relocate to the historic Banner Building right around the corner at 648 Broadway.

In spring 2023, after a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, we finally opened our amazing new location, and we are proud to continue our legacy in the neighborhood we love. It was worth it.

We are excited to welcome everyone back and continue to do what we love in the city we call home. And while we may have grown up just a touch, we will always be the place in NoHO to come as you are, unwind, meet up with friends and make new ones, all in a warm, welcoming neighborhood pub environment. We also now offer a menu of classic comfort food to complement our expanded beer, wine, and cocktail list.

The next chapter of Bleecker Street Bar is sure to be the best yet — so join us and raise a glass!

SEE YOU SOON!
